So what should I do with this blog
I’ve been thinking a bit about how I should use this blog and how I can differentiate between it and my Posterous blog. Both are very similar platforms designed for sharing mixed content - photos, links, quotes etc. For over a year this blog has mirrored what’s included on the Posterous blog and I have tended to give it as my main web site instead of the Tumblr site.
However I do like the Tumblr site and think the theme is a lot nicer looking than the posterous one. I’ve tried Wordpress but it feels too much like work maintaining it and I like the simplicity of Tumblr.
I have been thinking about stepping up a gear or two and posting more than just the occasional photo. I don’t think I could ever become a regular blogger but I think that the discipline of writing sporadic posts on areas of my work and interests might be good for me. Who knows - I may even enjoy it!
So, I plan to use this blog more for text and keep my Posterous blog for photos and other media. We’ll see how this goes…
